So, I've watched the second season of Good Omens, twice actually since the its release on Friday, and I loved it! First off, I will say that season 1 is the better season of the two, it's has a better plot and is more tightly paced. But, if you love Ineffable Husbands at all I recommend you watch it. A few professional reviews have said it feels very much like watching fanfiction, and I think that is a very apt description. We get more of Aziraphale and Crowley and their journeys and shenanigans throughout history. We get outsider POV on Aziraphale and Crowley from Aziraphale's neighbours. We get to see Crowley before the Fall! We get affectionate looks, little touches, and dancing! So many little story ideas and head canons I've seen floating around the past four years show up in this season.

That being said there is still issues between the two of them that have not been resolved, and I could see many fans being disappointed that the two of them haven't made more progress. Also, a warning for a lot of angst right at the very end of the season, and the angst is not resolved. The main issue of the season does get resolved, but they are obviously setting things up for a season three. I have had a couple mutuals decide to skip the last fifteen minutes, so they can be happy and then they said they will watch the last fifteen minutes just before season 3 eventually comes out. I don't think I could do that, but to each their own.

Anyways, you could just watch season 1 and be happy with that as the ending, but if you love Ineffable Husbands and are okay with an angsty ending then give it a watch.

Reccer's Note: This a Beauty and the Beast retelling so there is quite a bit of rose imagery. It is about Aziraphale realizing his own self worth, and Crowley finding a way to accept love even if he is cursed to remain in his snake form. It is such nice take on the classic fairy tale, while still being able to keep both Aziraphale and Crowley pretty in character.

It goes well enough, except that Dean keeps getting sick and Benny doesn't know why, so when they find what appears to be an abandoned village, they take refuge - only to find a lone wolf still lives there and he's not too happy to find strangers in his home.
Reccer's Note: This is a wolf-shifter AU, but is not A/B/O. It has fantasy elements, but at it's core it's a really nice story about people who have been rejected from, or lost, their families (or packs in case) and are building a new one of their own. It is one of my fave Destiny fics.

He tried not to consider the meaning of a church of the Lord burning to ash before his eyes as he realised that he is in love with a demon .
Aziraphale and Crowley steal a night in the darkness hoping that they will remain unseen together in the blackout.
Reccer's Note: This fic ponders what if Aziraphale and Crowley had gotten together after the 1941 bombing? The authors call this porn with feelings, the sex is very well written, and the authors do an amazing job of conveying what it is like for these characters to be sharing these intimate moments in almost complete darkness. However, what really sells this fic is the feelings! There is self doubt, and hesitation, and the two of them are so tender and caring with each other, and I loved the ending.
