Snowflake Challenge #7

Challenge #7
In your own space, create a list of at least three things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a wishlist of sorts.
1. Leave kudos and comments on my fanworks, here is my AO3, I write for a lot of different fandoms, like Good Omens, Star Trek, OFMD, among many others.
2. Leave a gift under my fandomtree, reveals are on the 18th, and I'm asking for Dead Boy Detectives, OFMD, Interview with the Vampire (TV series), Sherlock & Co, Doctor Who, and Ghosts. Minimum is only a drabble (100 words).
3. Since I didn't get into Granada Sherlock Holmes til after sign-ups for fandomtrees were over, I would also love drabbles/ficlets of Holmes/Watson, I would love ones where Holmes has to care for or rescue Watson, because Watson is the one always looking after Holmes in canon.
4. Recs for Granada Holmes/Watson fics (or fics based on the books where I can just picture the Granada boys in my head). I swear it feels like I've read half the tag in the last couple of weeks, but I know that can't possibly be true.
5. Read the Spones zine. I'm one of the editors of the Spones (Spock/McCoy) zine. A lot of talented people put a lot of effort into it. Our latest issue is here and free to download.
6. Go over to arab.org and "click to donate", it costs you nothing and all funds go towards UN agencies helping refugees.

Untitled Grenada Holmes ficlet
Watson smiled. It was a weak smile from a man who was still recovering from his hair-raising adventure the previous night, but it was genuine. "Thank you."
Holmes stood silent for a moment then, with a jarring jolt from stillness to the rapidity that sometimes overtook him, took several laps around the room before coming back to fall into the chair opposite Watson. "Watson, that was exceedingly foolish of you."
"It was a necessary risk."
"You might have been killed."
"I might have," Watson conceded. "But we are neither of us the sort to stand idle while an innocent life hangs in the balance."
"No," Holmes said. "That we are not." He took out his pipe and turned it over in his hands. "You must take care today. You must do nothing to overtax yourself. It would not do to lose you to a chill after you have survived a plunge in an icy river."
Watson smiled. The tea had put a little color back in his face, and his smile was brighter. "I will sit right here all day with my tea and my feet by the fire."
"Very good," Holmes said. Softer, almost in a whisper, he repeated, "Very good." Then, returning to a normal speaking voice, he said, "And I will sit with you, at your beck and call, to ensure your recovery."
"Thank you, Sherlock. I do not know what I would do without you."
Holmes turned his attention to the fire. "Nor I you, my dear Doctor."
Re: Untitled Grenada Holmes ficlet
Thank you so much for writing this for me! I hope you put it on AO3 or somewhere else that others can enjoy it, because it's lovely.
Re: Untitled Grenada Holmes ficlet
I will put it up on AO3 once I can figure out a title lol

Wish Granted!
I have downloaded a copy to read. I also boosted the signal on my blog, where my audience will likely pounce all over it.
I've also done magazine editing, so thanks for all your hard work.

The Better Part of Valour by rachelindeed (fixit for The Greek Interpreter)
dumb blonde by cardaisy (just realized this is also tagged for 1984 TV. short fic poking fun at a continuity error)
We Are Bleeding and We Must Not Scream by rainbowperson (during The Priory School, Holmes gets an idea of how Watson felt during the years before his return from the dead)
The Murmuring of Innumerable Bees by kindkit (Watson and Holmes in retirement)
also, perhaps you've seen this, but this is a meta work I find very cool: Always 1895 (orphaned, breaks the fourth wall and ties together some different Sherlock Holmes adaptations)
gave a click to donate as well!
