Challenge #6

In your own space, share a favourite piece of original canon (a show, a specific TV episode, a storyline, a book or series, a scene from a movie, etc) and explain why you love it so much

I've been having a terrible day so, lots of fandomtrees stress, and then I found out that a cousin of mine passed away. We hadn't been close in recent years, but we had been close as children. So, I'm still a bit in shock, she was only two years older than me.

Anyways, I didn't know what to put for this post. Last year I raved about Izzy Hands, I still love him to bits, but I'm still super sad about how season 2 ended so I'm choosing someone different this year.

I thought I would go with a classic fave of mine Carol Peletier from The Walking Dead. She probably has one of the best character arcs in a series I've ever seen, going from fearful abuse victim to fierce protector of her group of survivors, with a whole bunch of trauma along the way. I don't know if I can recommend TWD overall, it dragged on for way too long, and I stopped watching after the stupidness that was All Out War. Plus, you can only watch so much zombie apocalypse stuff for so long before it starts to get to you. That being said, Carol is still one of my all time favourite characters.
