Yeah, Murdoch has definitely gone down hill a bit, I just wish they would mix in social issues that were prevalent in that time period, like they did in earlier seasons. The first few seasons seemed to find the right balance between light-hearted episodes and serious episodes. I still enjoy it, but I do hope they eventually bring it to a satisfying conclusion soon, 12 seasons is a great run.

I did try and read Kathrine Hepburn's book years ago, but I found it hard to follow, she has a writing style that is very stream of consciousness.
